THE BLESSINGS IN PARTNERSHIP!

Psalm 37:25-26

“I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread. He is ever merciful and lends, and his descendants are blessed.”

“I sowed a seed in church last week; why haven’t I received my harvest yet?” George wondered. He was in this particular train of thought all day until he got the good news that his sister, who had been critically ill for a few months, had miraculously begun to recover. He then realized that her recovery was connected to his giving in church!

THE BLESSINGS IN PARTNERSHIP!

WHAT IS PARTNERSHIP?

Partnership is a relationship between two or more people who share responsibility in a common activity to achieve a common goal (Ecclesiastes 4:9). To be in partnership with the Man of God Reverend Dr. Chris Oyahilome means that you prayerfully and financially support one or more of our various partnership arms that have been designed to take the gospel to the ends of the earth.

2 Corinthians 9:7-9 says:
“Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He [a]takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, “prompt to do it”) giver [whose heart is in his giving]. 8 And God is able to make all grace (every favor and [b]earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need [c]be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]. 9 As it is written, He [the benevolent person] scatters abroad; He gives to the poor; His deeds of justice and goodness and kindness and benevolence will go on and endure forever!”
The above scripture shows the benefits of a partnership with God. A partnership is having a handshake with God and Him saying to you; “welcome on board.” Do you know what that means? It’s not just a handshake, but also an indication that you are being set up for God’s greater blessing. It is delivery of a blessing that makes you potent and forceful in your dealings.

PARTNERSHIP IS PARTICIPATION

Every opportunity you have to give to God is His way of setting you up for greater blessings. God doesn’t ask you to give because He wants something from you, but because He’s got something greater in store for you. Some have gotten frustrated because they had constantly given their time and resources to the Lord and to them, it seemed the circumstances of their lives did not improve. If only they knew that through their giving, God was setting them up for a greater and more glorious future, they would rejoice! Not only did the Lord take care of the widow’s immediate needs after she fed the prophet, but He also took care of her future (Read 1 Kings 17:17-23). Never allow anything to stop you or discourage you from giving to the things of the Kingdom. Partner with the Lord big-time by investing your time and resources in world evangelism and you’d be glad you did.

CHALLENGES PARTNERS FACE PART 1

Partnership is our participation in active ministry. Not every Christian is talking to people about Jesus Christ but we are all meant to be wining souls. If you want to operate beyond the ordinary as a Christian, you must be involved in partnership.

OUR PARTNERSHIP VEHICLES

  1. Global Service Sponsorship
  2. Global Service Language Translation Sponsorship
  3. Save a Life Campaign

The word of God is building us and giving us the capacity to do more for the lord.

CHALLENGES PARTNERS FACE
— Wrong association
— Wrong doctrines
— Wrong decision

Luke7:1-6
1 Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.
2 And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die.
3 And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.
4 And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:
5 For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue.
6 Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:

If God says you should do something, do it immediately and don’t seek for explanations. Imagine if Moses asked God for an explanation when God asked him to stretch his hand to divide the red sea.
When you want to do things for God, don’t always expect that everything will go smoothly, no, there will be challenges to try and work against you because you dared to do something big for God.

Prayer
Gracious Father, I thank you for your power and ability at work in me through the Holy Spirit, causing me to do, and walk, in the supernatural. My boast and my confidence are in your eternal Word and power. I function in your might, with the consciousness that the greater One who lives inside me, makes all things possible unto me. Amen

CHALLENGES PARTNERS FACE PART 2

Eph 6:10-12
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

He is not saying maybe we wrestle; it says we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against Principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world. Think about this, these are spiritual entities or spiritual forces. There is a dark realm over this world and in this world. And we are set against them. The other is wickedness in the heavenly realm. This is the highest of them all. Take on the whole amour of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day. There is an evil day. That’s the day of temptation, the day of attack, the day when you feel the pressure coming. It can come from everywhere and you may feel choked, don’t bow under this pressure. Put on the whole amour, so that you can stand in this evil day. We are set up against these adversaries but we are winners.

2 Cor 4:3KJV but if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

Satan is the Prince of this world. He is the God of the system of this world. But we are not of this world; we are in the world but not of this world. He can’t stop the light of the Gospel from shining but he can surely stop them from seeing the light.

Prayer
I’m God’s dwelling place; He moves in and through me; He talks and blesses through me. I’m a conveyor of eternal verities and a partaker of the divine nature. I have the ability to effect changes in my world because I’m born again and the greater One lives in me. Glory to God!

PARTNERSHIP THAT WORKS

Mal 3:10-11 KJV
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it .
11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.

Now you can understand why Christians who don’t give tend to be losing. There is a devourer, and sometimes Christians fall prey to this. We are victors not victims.

There are some things God wants us to have and one of them is the right consciousness/mentality.

Not every Christian is talking to people about Jesus Christ but we are all meant to be winning souls. If you want to operate beyond the ordinary as a Christian, you must be involved in partnership.

YOUR PARTNERSHIP - YOUR PROSPERITY

Psalm 1:1-3 KJV
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law doth he meditates day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

When you partner with the things of God you are spreading the word of God to the ends of the earth and the devil will try to stop you. Satan actually showed Jesus a vision when he took him to the mountain to deceive him. Therefore, it’s important to be discerning of the revelation you receive. Not every vision is from God. The world in which you function is under the dominion of darkness that’s why you must learn to subdue it with the Word of God and by the Spirit of God.

YOUR PARTNERSHIP - A KEY TO YOUR BLESSING

Pastor Chris’ teaching on Partnership, will inspire you to never fail to give and will bless your soul. Philippians 4:15, which tells of a church receiving and getting blessings for partnering with the Macedonia church; God’s opportunities are set-ups for greater blessings. Every time God requires something from you, it is absolute that he is planning for greater things ahead. For instance, the Zarephath widow who fed Elijah with the flour she was left with. We are sure you can remember that bible story that has a sweet ending of her bin of flour and jar of oil that was never used up/ ran dry. You can read that wonderful story in 1 kings 17:15.

Matthew 10:41-42

41 “He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.42 “And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”

When you partner with a prophet you receive a prophet’s reward.

YOUR PARTNERSHIP - YOUR SOURCE

Proverbs 18:16 says, “A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men,” but it’s not talking about skills, talents, abilities, or even anointing. What does this really means? Its understanding can change your life.

Philippians 4:19 which says, “But my God shall supply all of your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus,” was written to people who were partnering with Paul in the Gospel and gave to his ministry on a regular basis. Paul confirmed that in 1 Corinthians 16:2, where he wrote, “On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside” (New King James Version).

YOUR PARTNERSHIP – YOUR GIFT

What does the scripture mean when it says; our gifts will make room for us and bring us before great men?

The Hebrew word that was translated “gift” in Proverbs 18:16, 19:6, and 21:14 literally means “present.” Those scriptures leave no doubt that they’re not talking about an anointing or having favour but about a present that one person gives to another. Proverbs 19:6 makes it clear that “every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts,” and in 21:14 we read that “a gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath.” The New International Version translates Proverbs 18:16 this way, “A gift opens the way for the giver and ushers him into the presence of the great.” I believe these scriptures describe a very important aspect of what happens when you enter into a partnership with God through a ministry.

YOUR PARTNERSHIP – YOUR PRIVILEGE

God is Calling You to Partner with Him!
There are two great privileges that God has given to man. The first is salvation, which is the privilege to enter into an intimate and eternal relationship with God, to be unified with Him in love. The second greatest privilege is to serve God with good works, which He performs through us as we allow Him to do so. Both of these privileges are a result of God’s grace.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God– not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

(Genesis 2:15) Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.

(Exodus 23:25) “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.

WHAT WILL YOU GAIN BY PARTNERING WITH GOD?

What will you gain by partnering with God? It is great wisdom to partner with God. Everyone with the goal for a prize from God commits to God with partnership in His kingdom work. Wonders never end when we are in partnership with God, you enjoy the fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore in the Lord’s presence.
He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him – John 14:21 (NKJV)
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore – Psalms 16:11 (NKJV)

When you give to a ministry, you have not only blessed the people that are being touched by that ministry, but you start a supernatural flow of your finances, and you partake of the anointing and the blessing that’s on that minister’s life. It’s not bad to want the anointing that is on my life or that of another minister. The Bible says that we are to desire spiritual gifts.  I gave on purpose, saying, “God, I want to be a part of that. I’m going to sow part of my life into this person and into that ministry and, by doing so, you open a door that allows the blessing that’s on them to flow toward you.” It doesn’t just happen automatically; you have to have faith. But I believe that you can start seeing these things happen in your life if you will mix faith with your gifts.

YOUR PARTNERSHIP CREATES IMPACT

There isn’t space in this article to prove the math, but the gift that the queen gave to Solomon was only equal to one-tenth of one year of the king’s annual income. When the scripture says; the king gave her of his royal bounty, don’t you think his gift was greater than hers? When the Queen left for home, she left with greater riches, more wisdom, and the favour of the greatest king on earth. Her gift opened the door to great blessings.
Does what the Queen of Sheba did seem selfish to you? Are you thinking that all those riches should have been given to the poor who would’ve really needed the help instead of the richest man on earth? I don’t believe it would be out of reason to think that some king or ruler or tribe came to her and begged for her help as she traveled. It probably took hundreds of camels to carry these gifts, so her journey wasn’t any secret. You know, it could have been a real guilt trip as she passed by all the needy people, but the Queen understood a very important principle that applies to the support of a ministry today.
King Solomon didn’t need the queen’s riches, but she needed his wisdom and blessing, and her gift opened the door to the very things she needed. She probably left with more riches than she brought, and just think of how much more of a blessing she may have been to the poor on her return trip. This is a great example of how things work in the kingdom of God.

YOUR SERVICE IN PARTNERSHIP

True Christian service is giving to Him, it is not, what am I doing for the Lord? But What is the Lord doing through me?

Let us consecrate our work as well as ourselves. Then we shall not hear so much about our church, our connection, our cause, and our work, but like the men of old, shall “dwell with the King for His work.”

It’s important to understand the power that is available in partnership and then put that power to work for you.

A prayer for you;- that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened and that the Holy Spirit roots this teaching in your heart, and that the blessings of partnership be released upon your life.

YOU ARE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH GOD

God could do without us. He could, by His direct omnipotence, Himself, do all He uses us to do. But He has appointed human agency in the salvation of men. And, therefore, if we fail to do our part, there is a failure in the supply. We are members of Christ, and just as we have seen a large and generous heart, so often Christ looks for hands and hearts to carry out His merciful and mighty plans for a lost world.

He has so ordered it that His grace must reach others through us, we are His representatives, His agents, His body, His hands, and feet, and voice, through whom He has condescended to work; and shall we not be true to our glorious Head and the trust that He has given us?

He demands that if we build in His temple, we must build on His plan, on the foundation He has laid according to His specifications and with the materials, He has supplied. “See that thou make all this according to the pattern showed thee in the mount.” “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.” We often hear of some new religious “enterprise” being started. The Church is not an “enterprise,” but a divine temple, built of divine materials by the Holy Ghost through consecrated men and women.

GOD MAKES YOU A PARTNER TO BLESS YOU

“My friends at Philippi, you remember what it was like when I started preaching the good news in Macedonia. After I left there, you were the only church that became my partner by giving blessings and by receiving them in return” (Philemon 4:15 CEV).

The Bible tells us about a certain widow in Zarephath who was poor and had nothing, yet the Lord commanded her to take care of the prophet Elijah during the period of famine. Before meeting her, Elijah was being fed supernaturally by ravens which regularly brought him food. He also drank from a brook (1 Kings 17:4).

However, the brook dried up and the supernatural supply by the ravens stopped, and God commanded him to go to the widow. By feeding the Prophet Elijah the widow received her miracle: “And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which He spoke by Elijah” (1 Kings 17:15-16). Every opportunity you have to give to God is His way of setting you up for greater blessings.

God doesn’t ask you to give because He wants something from you, but because He’s got something greater in store for you. Some have gotten frustrated because they had constantly given of their time and resources to the Lord and to the work of the ministry, and to them, it seemed the circumstances of their lives had not improved. If only they knew that through their giving, God was setting them up for a greater and glorious future, they would rejoice!

Not only did the Lord take care of the widow’s immediate needs after she fed the prophet, but He also took care of her future (Read 1 Kings 17:17-23). He had looked into the future and saw that her only son was going to die. His plan to give her a miracle was to send the man of God her way to partner with. Never allow anything to stop you from giving to the work of the ministry. Partner with the Lord by investing your time and resources in world-evangelism and you’ll be glad you did.

THE IMPORTANCE OF PARTNERSHIP

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor (Ecclesiastes 4:9).

Pointing out the importance of partnership in ministry, the Apostle Paul wrote, “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase” (1 Corinthians 3:6). Years ago, I would journey to remote villages with videotapes and tracts containing messages preached by T.L Osborn. Through those messages, many souls were won to the Lord, delivered from demonic oppression, and healed from varying diseases.

T.L Osborn may never have been to those villages, but both of us will be rewarded by the Lord for the souls won and the lives that were touched by the power of God in those villages. What happened? T.L Osborn “planted” by preaching the messages, but I “watered” by ensuring the Word reached many more in those villages in the backside of civilization through those videotapes and tracts.

You may not be the one that wrote the books or preached the message on the tapes, but when you participate in the distribution of such materials, you’re taking your place as a partner in the propagation of the Gospel. In our ministry, we have several outreaches and media outlets used to reach the lost, and touch the lives of millions around the world. Take advantage of such God-given platforms, and make an impact with the Gospel around the world. There’s so much you can do to ensure God’s Word prevails in your environment, city, region, or country.

PARTNERSHIP AND ITS DIVERSE BLESSINGS

Psalm 37:25-26
“I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread. He is ever merciful and lends, and his descendants are blessed.”

Sometimes, when people give to God, they want quick financial returns from Him. Yes, when you sow a financial seed, the Lord blesses and multiplies your seed sown, but never get discouraged or wonder if you did the right thing if the harvest doesn’t come the way you expected it would.
